Children's Advocacy Center
The
Children's Advocacy Center of Jackson County is
a grass-roots community project to provide a
home-like environment where child victims of abuse
can disclose abuse to law enforcement and child
protective workers in privacy and safety and can
receive services in one child-friendly location.
The Center was expanded to
its present location in the historic Reames building
in April of 1995. Since then, two major expansions
have allowed the Center to meet the growing needs of
Jackson County.
Ken Snelling Design Associates transformed a downtown commercial lot into a
"Grandma" style custom designed craftsman home, medical and counseling office
for abused children.
